Tamping mat

I don't know if you've ever tried tamping on a stone countertop without a tamping mat, but it's dangerous and will scratch your counters if you're not careful. The simple solution is this. Whether you tamp with the spouts down or draped over the edge of the counter, or even if you're using a naked portafilter, this is the mat you need. It's the same mat we've used at my shop for years.
